"An unexpected error occurred: An error occurred in the SelfID format."

Historically, one of the following solutions has fixed this SelfID format error. Typically this error seems to be caused by a bad FireWire card/cable. - Try shutting down the PC, unplugging the power cable from the PC (make sure it really is off), and booting the PC back up.
- Check the FireWire card. Try replacing the FireWire card and/or swapping the PCI/PCIe card slot.
- Replace the FireWire cable and/or swap FireWire ports on the FireWire card or A3200 drive.
- Check any anti-virus or firewall software. Disable these and do a quick reinstall of the A3200 software. Set up the FireWire card and see if it can connect.
