An error occurred during HyperWire communication

Problem

"An error occurred during HyperWire communication: <Location Code/Message>"

Solution

This is not an exhaustive list of causes, but some common or reoccurring sources of these particular errors.

• Note that only A3200 versions 6.04 and above support the HyperWire protocol.
• Configure the PC power options to prevent possible issues with HyperWire. See Optimizing A3200 Performance for instructions to disable these settings. When done, restart the PC.
• This error is known to occur when the OUT port of a HyperWire drive is connected to the PC. Make sure that all of the HyperWire network cables are connected correctly.

• Power cycle all of the drives on the HyperWire network.
