Is it possible to send commands to the controller via analog or digital inputs so that a position can be approached at a certain speed?

Step-by-step guide

It is possible to transmit ASCII commands to the controller via RS-232 or Ethernet.

Controller - Connector:

NdriveCP - J206 (9pin D-Sub Connector)

NdriveHPe - J206 (9pin D-Sub Connector)

EnsembleMP/ML and Soloist MP/ML - TB105 (3pin Phoenix Connector)

EnsembleCP and SoloistCP - TB103 (3pin Phoenix Connector)

EnsembleHPe/HLe and SoloistHPe/HLe - J206 (9pin D-Sub Connector)

Unfortunately, this is not possible via digital or analog inputs, as they only have on or off or a certain numerical value, but do not transmit the direction.

Of course, a program can be stored that checks the digital and analog inputs and can move the axis or axes accordingly. For this, the traversing commands must be stored in the program with speed or distance or position. The flexibility is somewhat limited, but still doable for now.

It is more flexible via ASCII commands and the RS-232 interface.

The NdriveMP and NdriveML do not have an RS-232 interface.
